this is a tribute to candice..i owe her tons!!! hahah..let me start from the very beginning (a very good place to start..when you speak you begin with A B C, when you sing you begin with do re mi..hahah..)..so anyway...today is SATurday..so named because Sats take place on saturdays..and well..by golly..today..i was supposed to take SATs..but guess what ms genius did? ms genius (me) totally forgot abt SATs...and happily slept till 720..and i was supposed to report to bras basah complex at 745. so anyway...you get the gist..i woke up late..and candice called to ask me where i was (still in bed..). first..she called my hp..which i thought i heard..but happily ignored and snoozed on..then she called my home..and thank goodness my mother thinks nothing of waking someone from their sweet slumber just to pick up annoying phone calls. (thank you!!)..so..what a nasty shock!! first thing in the morning!!! well..bad start to a horrendous day! nice candice came down in a cab to pick me up..and i emptied my pockets with all the money i brought outta the house ($4)..which didn't cover my half of the cab fare. so..anyway..the test itself was good..4 math sections! yay!! haha..and strangely..i felt quite confident.
ok..fast forward..3 hrs later..candice and i arrived at ps to meet her friends. i was there to kill time..had to wait for my mum to arrive..she was gonna get some shelves from carrefour. well well....i did not have a single cent on me..and as luck would have it..my phone died on me. what a terrible day. then...candice happily abandoned me to go singing with her friends at cine. i was down to the last trip on my farecard..and had no choice but towait ard ps. so i bought some lunch (atm card..not enough money to draw)..and ate. aft which..i waited abt 45 min for my mum at the train station. simple enough instructions of 'don't walk towards the travellators (at dhoby ghaut)'..and she can forget. *impressed* ok..so she finally arrived..and we got the shelves..which weigh 9kg each!!!!! gosh....i had to carry the box of planks the whole way..and now..my head hurts. insufficient slp i think. ): ok...my mum bought 3 shelves..enough to keep her, my sis and i occupied.
